Stewart Island is New Zealand's third largest island but has a permanent population of just 408 people. 80% of the island is set aside as the Rakiura National Park. Due to the absence of some introduced pests, the park provides one of the best opportunities to see Kiwis. This is also where you'll find the Rakiura track - one of New Zealand's great walks.

We design and build all our maps right here in New Zealand. To make geography accurate, each layer is laser cut. We then paint and assemble them by hand. Find out more about our maps, bespoke additions, and how they're made.
