Hi, we’re Matt and Kate. Tides Out Maps started in 2021 as a passion project, turning the coastlines we love to surf, freedive and kayak into layered wooden maps. Matt shapes real depth data into every design, and each piece is made by hand in our Auckland workshop. If the tide went all the way out, this is what you’d see.
