This is our wooden depth map of Bream Bay.

This map shows Northland's impressive Bream Bay, including Whangarei Heads in the north down to Mangawhai in the south. The shallow Whangarei harbour is contrasted with the Hen and Chicken islands, which seem to arise from deep water to sit proudly in the centre of the bay. The five chicks sit just north of their mother Hen island, with the entire group being a nature reserve.

We design and build all our maps right here in New Zealand. To make geography accurate, each layer is laser cut. We then paint and assemble them by hand. Find out more about our maps, bespoke additions, and how they're made.
