A handcrafted tribute to the dramatic landscapes and deep waters of Aotearoa.

This detailed wooden map of New Zealand captures both the rugged terrain above sea level and the vast ocean depths that surround it. From the Chatham Rise stretching eastward to the Kermadec Trench in the north, the bathymetric detail reflects the powerful geological forces that shaped our whenua (land).

Each contour—both land and sea—is laser-cut and hand-assembled in our Auckland workshop using sustainably sourced European Birch, resulting in a sculptural piece that blends art, geography, and storytelling.
