Liam’s Connection to the Coast
When Liam Pride visited our stand at the Boat Show, something clicked. Shortly after, he reached out with an order — not for one map, but for two. One of Kaipara, where he grew up. And another of Doubtless Bay, where his family holidays.
“Yes — have connections to both places. The Kaipara was where I grew up and Doubtless Bay is where we family holiday.”
He wanted to create something meaningful — artwork that captured the essence of both these special spots in his life.
Personal Touches that Matter
Once Liam saw the customisation options, he knew exactly what he wanted.
“After looking at the examples of extras, can I please get a house engraved on each one? I've added a picture of the rough location.”
From there, we brought the vision to life — carefully engraving each map with a small house in the precise spot he marked. As always, we kept him updated and made sure everything looked mint before it shipped out.
“They are so bloody awesome. We've hung one at home and the other will be put up in the bach in the next couple of weeks.”
From Boat Show to the Wall
These two maps now live in the places that matter most to Liam — one hanging in his home, the other soon to go up in the family bach. A perfect pairing of memory and art, all handcrafted here in New Zealand.
