The Waitematā is a stunning harbour. It provides the main access by sea to Auckland City. The Waitematā Harbour consists of an estuary system of seven tidal creeks/sub-estuaries that converge into a main channel. The Waitematā district contains approximately 630,000 people making it the largest population in New Zealand.

We design and build all our maps right here in New Zealand. To make geography accurate, each layer is laser cut. We then paint and assemble them by hand. Find out more about our maps, bespoke additions, and how they're made.
