For this customer, catching their first Marlin wasn’t just a milestone — it was a moment that deserved to live beyond memory.

That map now hangs proudly on their wall — a handcrafted tribute to a once-in-a-lifetime experience out on the water, just beyond the Hokianga Harbour.
Turning Coordinates Into a Story
When they reached out, we worked closely to pinpoint the exact fishing spot — using GPS coordinates from the day of the catch. After creating a rendering of the Hokianga region, we placed the marker right where it happened.
“Hope you had an enjoyable weekend. I’ve attached a quick rendering of the Hokianga map, including the spot where you caught your Marlin!”
To make sure we got it just right, we asked for final confirmation.
“Are you able to confirm this looks right? It looks like it’s around 10km from the mouth of the Awaroa River.”
The customer double-checked:
“I’ve punched the coordinates into Google Maps and I have it showing as more directly outside the harbour.”
With that feedback, we made the final adjustment — because moments like these deserve precision.
